ING Direct, the first digital bank in Italy, chooses Spin&Go©


ING Direct has been one of the leading companies in the world of online banking in Italy, with a wide range of products suitable for all customer needs. Founded in 1991 in Amsterdam, it has taken root in more than 40 countries around the world and in 2001 it arrived on Italian territory with the Conto Arancio deposit account.


ING needed to manage a large amount of content both on the institutional website and on the various mini-sites and landing pages connected to it. The latter were dedicated to individual products of the Bank (Conto Arancio, Conto Corrente Arancio, Mutuo Arancio etc.) and were aimed at capturing and channeling traffic from banners, search engines and typing in the browser of the related domains. Parallel to the growth of the number of products and the complexity of the offer, the need arose for continuous updates to both pages and scripts aimed at SEO and tracking.


To better meet the customer's requirements, Engitel has carried out a specific configuration of Spin&Go© and the customized development of some new features. The solution was structured as follows:

  • Creation of a flexible and modular publishing tool, which would allow content to be produced and updated appropriately;
  • Increase in the efficiency of publishing processes;
  • Parametric management of highly variable data;
  • Configuration of a content publication schedule.


The result was an advanced publishing system that allowed ING Direct's Digital Channels Development department to work on pages more easily, securely and efficiently. This involved reviewing and optimizing the content production and editing process.
