Spin&Go© and Intesa Startup Initiative, technology at the service of ideas

THE CUSTOMER

The Intesa Startup Initiative programme, promoted by Intesa Sanpaolo, is dedicated to high-tech start-ups, chosen after a rigorous selection phase. It is responsible for providing training and putting international companies and investors in contact, organizing highly specialized events called Arena Meetings. The initiative involved 5866 start-ups and 420 investors, with a traffic of 2800 unique users per month on the official website.

THE NEEDS

Intesa Sanpaolo needed a virtual place to get in touch with a large number of start-ups, so as to select them and put them in contact with investors, in order to guarantee an optimal exchange of information and thus arrive at a greater chance of success of the initiative.

THE SOLUTION

Using the Spin&Go© platform, Engitel has created a customized website that offers services to both start-ups and investors.

Start-ups have a dashboard that allows them to make the documentation related to their idea available and, for this purpose, a specific section of the site presents the service providers for companies.

Investors, in turn, also have a dashboard that allows them to examine the documentation relating to each start-up and, if necessary, request additions.

The website is also linked to a database managed with Contacts Manager, which allows you to contact investors and invite them to start-up presentation meetings. Spin&Go© and Contacts

Managers share personal data, allowing you to automatically feed the distribution lists, and through Contacts Manager you can also manage the collection of information on the presence of the investor and recalls. Finally, the back office allows Intesa Sanpaolo to manage all information and monitor contacts between the parties.

THE ADVANTAGES

The solution proposed by Engitel has allowed Intesa Sanpaolo to come into contact with a large number of young entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas, thus attracting numerous international investors (banks, incubators, business associations and so on). The advantages obtained thanks to the use of Spin&Go© have been many:

  • In a single online repository are stored the information of the start-ups, the main data related to the business idea and the contacts between start-ups and investors;
  • The entire system is managed in the back office by a single person;
  • All initiatives are documented, as well as by printable files, also by videos in which the individual start-ups illustrate their idea;
  • The HTML code is optimized for search engines and allows excellent indexing, in order to spread the initiative and collect an extremely large number of adhesions.
